Altiplano waters El Carmelo

The project consists of the design, supply, construction and commissioning of an arsenic abatement system that has 14 horizontal mixed-bed filters. The system includes dosing of chemicals (HCl, FeCl and Cl) prior to filtration.

This project presented a great technical challenge for the development of engineering and implementation, being one of the systems with the highest existing capacity in the removal of As using mixed bed filter technology.
